From "Bailie's Party of 1820 Settlers" by M.D. Nash
According to his will MOOC 7/1/168 no.58 24:12:1841 three of his children, Simon, Gilbert Burnet and Anna Maria, died in England prior to 1819. Three of his daughters, Charlotte, Mary Burnet and Margaret Jane, married and lived in London.
Edward, the third son, entered the navy and in 1820 he joined his parents in Albany. He later emigrated to New South Wales.
George, the fourth son, was entered on the original return but withdrew before the party emigrated. He subsequently joined his family and was in Albany in 1846, though he died in England in 1857.
Thomas Jervis, the seventh son, joined his family at the Cape between 1830 and 1833, when he bought the drostdy house at Bathurst
