Thomas BAINBRIDGE married Elizabeth HARMAN by banns on 20 July 1802 in St.Martin in the Fields, Westminster

Alice Ruth, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth BAINBRIDGE, St.James, tailor, baptised 14 March 1813 in St.Anne's, Soho, Westminster

 

Alice not mentioned on the settler returns, or in Thomas BAINBRIDGE's application to take out a party, but she obviously did go to the Cape.

 

Grahamstown Journal Saturday 6 November 1847

 

DIED at Bellevue on 23rd October, Alice Ruth, wife of Mr. John BROWN, the youngest and last surviving daughter of Mr. T. BAINBRIDGE, one of the British Settlers of 1820. Aged 36 years.

 

Baptisms of Elizabeth and Jane not found.
