Sailing ship in Fal Estuary. James EVA and Benjamin OSLER came from Falmouth, and William COCK, who lived in nearby Penryn, would have known the Fal Estuary well, as would William MALLETT, who was living in Penryn when he wrote to the Colonial Office in 1819.
