St.James, Piccadilly, designed by Sir Christopher Wren. It was restored after considerable damage during WW2. James ADDAMS and Harriet CURLING were married in this church, as were John ATHERSTONE and Elizabeth DAMANT, Benjamin BOOTH and Margaret MORTIMER, Charles CROFT and Mary DEACON, Charles CROFT and Elizabeth SEADON, Nicholas FLANEGAN and Hannah WAKEMAN (parents of Timothy FLANEGAN), Timothy FLANEGAN and Mary COLDITS, Henry LLOYD and Alicia WHITTLE, William LLOYD and Dorcas NEEDHAM (parents of Henry James LLOYD), James MOORCROFT and Sarah DIXON, Thomas SLATER and Sophia HALL and John WEBB and Mary Ann STEWART. George ANDERSON Junior and William Embleton ANDERSON were baptised in this church, as were two children of Alexander BYRNE, two daughters of Peter CAMPBELL, Clarissa CROFT, daughter of Charles CROFT and Elizabeth SEADON, two children of George and Mary FAIRCLOTH, three children of George and Sarah FUTTER, three children of Thomas and Elizabeth HEWSON, George JENKINSON, two children of William KIDSON  and George Frederick STOKES. James BRYANT (born 1793) and two of his sons were all baptised in St.James on the same day in 1819.
