The parish church of St.Saviour in Southwark has only been designated a Cathedral since 1905. Thomas BERRINGTON and Frances TICKNER, parents of the settler Thomas BERRINGTON, were married in St.Saviour's, as were William RAYNER and Martha PADGETT, and Enos SAUNDERS (aka Thomas Saunders BROWN) and Elizabeth LEGERTON. William DREDGE was baptised here, as were the children of Robert GODFREY, Mary Ann, daughter of John OATES, and James Edmund, son of Thomas ROBINSON.
