St.Mary's Church, now Carlisle Cathedral, almost adjacent to St.Cuthbert's, where Christopher THORNHILL and Dorothea MOUNSEY were married. Dorothea's father, George MOUNSEY, had business premises a stone's throw away at 3 Castle Street.
