The humble Petition of Joseph SMITH and Joseph CHANDLER,
Respectfully sheweth,
That they have a desire of emigrating to the Cape of Good hope, they have the means of complying with the terms proposed by Government. SMITH is 31 years of age, is by trade a Smith; has a wife aged 25 but no children, they are both in perfect health. CHANDLER, the other Petitioner, is by trade a Tinplate worker & Brazier, aged 33 years, has a wife aged 35, and three children, all under 12 years; they are in perfect good health.
Petitioners humbly pray your Lordship's kind answer to the prayer of their Petition.

SMITH resides at 26 Queen St, Bryanston Square
