He was not an 1820 settler, but sailed to the Cape in 1826 with William SHEPHERD's Party. He was a cousin of Thomas YOUNG(S), the 1820 settler.

Samuel, son of Samuel and Martha, baptised 26 December 1819 (born 13 May 1817)

Mary, daughter of Samuel and Martha, baptised 6 August 1819 (born 21 July)

George, son of Samuel and Martha, baptised 30 May 1821 (born 13 May)

Martha Jane, daughter of Samuel and Martha, baptised 11 January 1824 (born 21 November 1823)

Also baptised, but not listed in 1826 correspondence of William SHEPHERD:

Samuel's brother Charles William also went to the Cape. Norma van As in her book "A Small World" confirms that Charles William WEBBER and family also emigrated in 1826. There are no specific references but she did have access to extensive family correspondence.

Charles WEBBER married Mary MITCHELL on 4 November 1817 in St.Anne's, Soho.
