Peter John GAUGAIN, aged 51, Gent, from Chase Side, Enfield.

 

Joseph SATCHWELL, bachelor, married Mary Ann GAUGAIN, spinster, by Licence on the 16 January 1813 in St.George's, Hanover Square.

Both signed their names.

Witnesses: P. GAUGAIN and C. SATCHWELL

 

The Westminster Archives copy of this marriage has the groom as George SATCHWELL. Mary Ann was probably Philip's cousin, and Joseph/George was probably related to Richard SATCHWELL, 1820 settler, who emigrated with Philip in WILKINSON's Party.
