In order to commemorate the missionary labours of the late Mr. James Weir, who was associated with the late Rev. William Govan in the founding of Lovedale Institution, and the late Rev. William J. B. Moir, M.A., of Lovedale, and later of Blythswood, it is proposed to place memorial tablets on the walls of St. Andrew's Church, Kingwilliamstown.
