DIED at her residence on the 2nd inst, Sarah Ann STERLEY, second daughter of Mr. William STERLEY, after an illness of four days, aged 3 years and 6 months.
NB her remains will be interred Tomorrow Afternoon at 3 o’clock, when Friends are most earnestly requested to attend.

DIED in London of Typhus Fever, Charlotte Elizabeth, wife of Capt. G. GEERE of the Arethusa, and eldest daughter of Lieut. PANNEL, 60th Foot, Uitenhage, leaving a family of 6 children to deplore her loss.

DIED at Port Elizabeth on the 13th day of Aug, Henry Thomas STERLEY, youngest son of Mr. William STERLEY, after an illness of six weeks, aged 1 year and 4 months.

BIRTH on Tuesday the 21st instant, Mrs. J. WOOD of a Daughter.

DIED at Rio de Janeiro on the 21st July, of Fever, the very Rev. Geo. Dominic CORCORAN OSD, for many years Roman Catholic Pastor of Port Elizabeth. Deceased during his residence amongst the inhabitants of this port had acquired the esteem of all classes of the community, by whom his death will be sincerely regretted.
