St.Budock Parish Church (to left of porch). Grave of Peter and Elizabeth RENFREE, grandparents of the settler Joseph RICHARDS. Peter RENFREE was also the older brother of Miriam RENFREE, mother of the settler James Jay EVA. The inscription reads "In Memory of Peter RENFREE, late of this parish, who departed this life March 26th 1826, Aged 84 years. Also Elizabeth RENFREE, wife of the above, who departed this life March 8th 1821, aged 75 years. Likewise seven of their children.
Behold you that this way pass by, As you are now, so once was I. As I am now so you must be. Prepare, therefore, to follow me."
